Are you able to create boundaries at home?
Or you avoid them to keep some peace?

But now you  feel burnt out from work yet still don’t see the results?

You may feel like more time or money would solve the problems, but let me assure you – what you have right now is ENOUGH.
You can fuel your success right now by eliminating the fear and regaining focus on what’s important , and of course start setting boundaries.

Easier said than done, especially as a mum.

What’s stopping you from starting?

It’s easy to forget ourselves and think we aren’t “worth” time out…
Here are possible ideas of what could be stopping you :

  • Fear of mistakes
  • Fear of looking stupid
  • Lack of direction
  • Lack of vision and purpose

No matter where you are in your journey, these little devils can sneak in and make you believe you don’t have what it takes.
Let’s see what we can do about them. Just promise me one thing – once you get to the end of this blog post, immediately go do the thing that you know you need to do

Perfectionism

Feeling embarrassed for taking time for yourself or making mistakes is completely normal, and you can never avoid it. Perfectionism makes you spend so much time on a task that you either never finish it or never start it altogether. What’s behind is often fear of looking stupid or making mistakes.
And here are a couple of truths about these fears:

  • You can never be perfect, so don’t bother to attain that. Strive to be your best at any given moment, not perfect.
  • There will be people who judge, no matter what you do.
  • “Mistakes” are just learning opportunities. And most times, it really isn’t that serious.

Perfectionism makes us focus on the end goal, and we often don’t enjoy the process of work. What happens is we give it less focus and effort than it deserves.

What is your definition of success ?

Okay, let’s say we cured your perfectionism. Now what?
Doing something for the sake of doing isn’t gonna bring us the results we want. To make sure we’re on the right path, we should get clear on our purpose and objectives.
Get clear on your goals

Having a goal is as important as taking action. Goals can change as you gain new insights, but having none won’t lead you where you want to end up.
Whenever you’re setting your goals, think about how they are relevant for the long and short term. Keep in mind the S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time bound) goal formula.

Define your why

Why did you start your business? What is the driving force behind what you do, besides the material?
Feeding your family and paying off debt are both valid reasons for starting a business.  But in order to keep going when it gets tough, it is useful to define a bigger purpose.
If money wasn’t an issue, what would you want to achieve?
What problem do you want to solve?
What impact are you looking to make?
