We spend an awful lot of time in our head trying to figure things (or people) to the point that we become disembodied. This happens more than we even realize.
Spending too much time in our head disconnects us from our body’s wisdom, our awareness, and a sense of clarity. When this happens, we feel less clear about our sense of purpose, direction and meaning.Then, the snowball effect sets in.
We begin over-analyzing which creates more stress.
We begin worrying about the future so much, that we steal ourselves from the present moment.
We repeatedly run scenarios from the past over and over in our mind, trying to make sense of things or wishing we had responded in a different way.
We become distracted by what others should or shouldn’t be doing.
