We spend an awful lot of time in our head trying to figure things (or people) to the point that we become disembodied. This happens more than we even realize.

Spending too much time in our head disconnects us from our body’s wisdom, our awareness, and a sense of clarity. When this happens, we feel less clear about our sense of purpose, direction and meaning.
Then, the snowball effect sets in.

We begin over-analyzing which creates more stress.

We begin worrying about the future so much, that we steal ourselves from the present moment.

We repeatedly run scenarios from the past over and over in our mind, trying to make sense of things or wishing we had responded in a different way.

We become distracted by what others should or shouldn’t be doing.

We fall prey to comparison and continually assess whether we are keeping up with others.

We turn our life into a project by way of perpetual analysis, fixing, and comparing. It’s really just a sign of boredom.

We abdicate responsibility to others, like spiritual guides and health practitioners, because we become so disconnected from our own knowingness.

We become restless in the limbo state of indecision.

The mind becomes so used to getting most or all of the attention, that it gets bored and starts seeking attention to satiate this perpetual cycle. If it doesn’t get its way, it sulks and becomes bored.

When we’re bored, it’s second nature to unconsciously default to spending too much time in our head. We need stimulation so we create problems, distractions, projects, and worry as a way to keep the brain occupied because we’ve allowed it to run the show, rather than our heart and our intuition.

The more distracted and busy we become, the less presence we have, and the more disconnected we feel.

We feel disconnected from our knowingness, our purpose, other people, the universe, and more.

Feeling disconnected can lead to things like depression, apathy, hopelessness, melancholy, physical ailments, and more.

The best antidote to these symptoms of disconnection is the Akashic Records.

If you’re not familiar with the Akashic Records, it’s the blueprint of your soul. It holds information about important things like our soul’s purpose, what gifts we’re here to share, what we’re here to master and more.

Just by being in the energy of our Akashic Records we can feel a deep sense of restoration and a profound homecoming. We become deeply attuned to the fact that there is more to life than our day-to-day reality, we can calm the mind and program our consciousness to hold the thoughts and patterns that serve us, and remind ourselves that there is a vast pool of possibility that awaits us.

It is a place to gain clarity of purpose and direction, so that we can stop spinning our wheels and move forward gracefully.

It re-awakens our heart’s desires so that we can make choices that feel aligned to what we really want.

It helps us to get clear about what is needed to move through the next phase of our soul’s journey, and what lies ahead on our path.

If you’re ready to live more in your heart, here’s an easy process that you can follow:

– Set aside uninterrupted time in a sacred space before accessing your Records
– Clear your mind bring your attention to your heart
– Set intentions for how you wish to feel while accessing your Records
– Have a list of questions prepared to ask your guides who will be accessing your Records for you
– Silently request your guides to open your Akashic Records for you and simply observe as you notice any shifts in perception, temperature, or sensations in your body (this will often indicate that your Records are open)
– Gift yourself a moment to sit in this space; being in this energy is very powerful in clearing the mind, connecting you with your heart, and bringing clarity to your next steps; a deep connection s created and energy balances throughout your body and mind
– Ask your questions and wait for the responses from your guides
– Take notes in a special journal so that you can track the shifts that you make each time that you access your Akashic Records
– Ask your guides to close your Records after about 20 minutes
– Give yourself a moment to just be in this space before rushing off to do

The more you practice this sacred process, the more you will feel a balance in your mind, body, heart connection, the more clear you will feel, and the more spiritually connected you will feel.

From this place of deep connection, you will be acutely aware of what matters and gain clarity about why you matter and how your life has meaning and purpose to share with others.
