Why is data so important?

So many entrepreneurs and small business owners have social media accounts but they do not connect their business goals with their social media data.

For example, if your business goal is to increase brand awareness (which let’s face it…everyone has that goal!) then you should be tracking specific metrics from your social media account like reach, impressions, etc. Another metric you should track is web traffic.

If your goal is to increase engagement, then you should be tracking likes, comments, and shares across each platform AND look at which types of content resonate with your audience the most.

There are just so many ways that you can use data across your social media platforms – to drive your strategy so you can grow your business.
